Kid’s Summer Photography Camp: Ages 12 to 15
July 22nd and 24th from 1:00pm to 3:30pm, $30
Treat your young teen to a fun class learning the basics of photography with professional photographer Leah Haraden. Your child will learn about the artistic side of photography using good composition techniques, available light, and much more. The program will include instruction and hands-on practice with a variety of challenging subjects and in-class assignments. Your child will learn to see the world through their own unique lens.
Digital cameras are recommended, but any type of camera will work—including cell phones. An exhibition of the students’ work will be held in the Merrymeeting Arts Center Gallery on Sept 5 and 6.
Students must provide their own camera. An additional $10 photo printing fee will be payable to the instructor at the end of class so each student will have at least one professionally-printed image to keep.
